Selected by Algemeiner Journal as one of the top 100 people positively influencing Jewish life
ZAKA Chairman Yehuda Meshi-Zahav was selected by the New York-based Algemeiner Journal as one of the top 100 people positively influencing the Jewish people. This, for his “impactful work on behalf of the Jewish people and the State of Israel”, which includes countless ZAKA search, rescue and recovery missions at major natural disasters and terror attacks in Israel and around the world.
The star-studded “J100” gala was held last week (September 13, 2018) in Manhattan, New York, with the participation of actress Sharon Stone, Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and fellow honorees from around the world.
Meshi-Zahav was applauded for his extensive work with the international community as well as in Israel – in saving those who can be saved and honoring those who cannot – in addition to promoting unity among people all over the world.
